But I feel as though this map was a good step towards map development for me. Happy with the final result even though I can't bear working on this layout anymore.
Air distance between mains...
I miss the old desert themes that we used to see in HotS a lot, mainly because that's where my best memories of SC2 are from, so I figured I'd try and make something that was reminiscent of that but updated for today's meta.
Looking back at it, the map probably could be larger and the Main locations are just...well.. no.
Another issue is the high ground third, I placed it there to make a somewhat safe expansion for protoss, but I think in hindsight that it makes the middle a bit too choke-y.
If anyone wants to take this layout further I have no issue sending you the map files, I just cant bear working on it anymore.
